Dear everybody, one month after my arrival it’s time to you to discover my new life in Newcastle!I’m sorry but i’m always busy, now it’s a little bit more quiet but i didn’t have time to write something and put pictures on!
So the first week in Newcastle was a little bit bad because you discover a new country, a new town, a new university, new friends, new teachers, new accomodation, new food, new weather and above all a new language…without your family, without your friends and without reference points…….And you ask yourself why you leave and in witch adventure are you going??You miss everybody, you feel alone like a baby in a new world!!So if you won’t came back you have to make friends, and believe in this new life!!!
In the second week it was the famous “freshers week”!!A lot of activities during the day like surfing, archery, ice skating, travel to Ikea ( LOL!!), paintball, climbing; a lot of “pubcrawls” and parties during nights in famous pubs of Newcastle like “the Vodka Revolution”, “Perdu”, “The Venue”, and a lot of parties in the Union with a famous drink “a diesel please!!”(which is a building just for students in the university!!Definitely amazing!!)!So you meet a lot of international students and you’re making links with them because you’re leaving the same experience, this same new and spectacular life!!And you think at this moment that this new life can be marvelous!
During the third week, it’s time to work(LOL!!) that is the first week in the Law School,it’s really small and when you tell to somebody that you ‘re studying law they’re afraid!!I can’t understand why!!!(LOL!!)But it’s really great because it’s like your house everybody is friendly your teachers know you very well….I have like 12 hours per week and also 4 hours of english courses but there is above all a lot of personal work so i work…
Then, weeks go on very quickly and i can’t remember all the things since the beginning!!But i can tell you that i’m really enjoy being here,i’m going in courses all the week(between lectures, seminars, and english course),i’m doing a lot of sport(in the sport center of Newcastle University),i’m playing tennis every saturdays,i have a lot of parties nearly everynights with my friends and everytime more people so i have the life that i would like to have during my studies!!
I can’t show and explain you all the events but definitely from today i will write an article per week in order to be more exact!
Just thank you to Marie Alix and Marion who came seeing me last week it’s so great and i tried to show them all my life and my country and friends…
See you next week and i put pictures on as soon it’s possible!
